January 10

Do you ever feel like you’ve got all your eggs
in one basket, six balls in the air and
7,000 emails to return?

Well, gather ‘round THE WATER COOLERS
for a high energy, laugh-out-loud evening
of award-winning song and sketch comedy.

For anyone who’s ever been held captive
by a help line (“And Hold Please”),
stalked by a sales parent
(“Who Will Buy – This Crap for My Kid’s School?”),
or found themselves judged by how many words
a minute they can type with their thumbs (“Blackberry”),
The Water Coolers take a hilarious look at
what we go through just making every week
happen!

Simply put – it’s your life, but killer funny.

Each year Edgar Cruz performs more than 200 concerts and has played throughout America, Europe and South America. He has been a headliner at the prestigious Chet Atkins
Guitar Festival
in Nashville since 1995.

Audiences immediately are entranced at his precision and speed . . . his fingers striking
the strings of his guitar create a symphony
of sound unusual to just one instrument.

Cruz’s repertoire includes the greatest hits
of the guitar, such as “Malagueña,” “Classical Gas,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “In the Mood,” “Dueling Banjos,” “Hotel California,” plus a classical medley, Latin favorites, originals
and medleys on the fly.

In fact, audiences are encouraged to
participate -- clap, sing, dance, snap,
shout “olé” and “yee-haw.”

The 2011/2012 concert season marks the 10th anniversary of the world-changing events of 9/11. To honor this pivotal moment in American history, Matt Davenport Productions, Inc. is privileged to present the stirring world premier production of ...AMERICAN SPIRIT.

Join the cast of 10 as they take you on a journey through the events – and introduce
you to the people – that define the American Spirit! From the birth of our nation to a 4th of July celebration you will never forget, you won’t have to look far to see, hear and feel the true spirit of our great land.

The well-meaning, but slightly befuddled, mayor of Your Hometown, U.S.A., leads the audience through a powerful 90-minute song, dance and storytelling journey . . . parade routes and battlefields, town halls and concert halls. From the American Revolution to the Industrial Revolution. Hear Prohibition jazz grow out of Civil War spirituals. Enjoy America’s heroes, battlefield to ball field. Be surrounded by sounds and speeches of our nation’s history.

There will be opportunities to feature soloists and choirs from our community. This is a show that starts in the town square gazebo and comes marching right down the aisles.

Filled with humor and heart, this is a production that will renew your AMERICAN SPIRIT!
